Say hello to Mel…

Meet Mel!

Mel joined our team at the end of August as Senior Account Manager. Mel has been working in the Promotional Merchandise industry for over 20 years and even at some stage had her own Merch Company! Mel had her eye on Merchgirls for several years and jumped on the opportunity to join our team when a position was made available. Mel's super powers include her innate and attentive client rapport as well as her extensive knowledge of promo products and the industry as a whole. We are pumped to have her join our team! More about Mel in the quick Q&A link in bio.

20+ years

4. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
At this point I would settle for literally anywhere outside of my house, but returning to New York would be at the top of my list. It's my favourite city in the world, nowhere else comes close to New York especially at Christmas time, it truly is the city that never sleeps, there is so much to see and do, and the shopping is AMAZING..

5. What is your favourite piece of merch from Menu 3.0?
I really love the cheerful mid and cheerful crew socks, the potential to be able to create some amazing branding opportunities on such a practical product is really exciting,

6. What drew you to working at Merchgirls?
I had admired what the girls were doing from afar, and when the opportunity presented itself I jumped at the opportunity. I love what Merchgirls stand for, creating amazingly unique merch that people are going to love and use.

7. Who's a client you would like to work with?
Having had the privilege of working with headspace for a number of years, I am passionate about collaborating with companies who provide support for teens and young adults who are feeling the pressure, struggling with the complexities of life and need some additional support. October is mental health awareness month, and because of this I would love to work with clients such as Beyond Blue, Black Dog Institute or Orygen.
